Murumuru Butter – Murumuru butter is derived from murumuru nuts, which fall from astrocaryum murumuru, a palm tree found in the Amazon. Murumuru butter is rich in fatty acids and deeply penetrates the skin to hydrate. Murumuru butter is rich in omega 3s, and 9s, as well as vitamins A, E, and C, all nutrients that help soothe and nourish damaged and irritated skin. It helps to repair the barrier and trap moisture.

Cupuacu Butter – Cupuacu Butter benefits are a natural emollient and contains natural fatty acids, so it is a very effective moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin. The cupuacu tree is native to the Amazonian rainforest. The butter which is made from the tree’s seeds is prized for its versatility, as a medicinal and as a beauty product. Cupuacu butter is a triglyceride of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, and two properties credited with cupuacu’s rise in skincare: sterols and essential fatty acids. Though it’s not recognized as an SPF, Cupuacu Butter is well known for it’s ability to absorb damaging UVA / UVB rays for some natural sun protection.
